Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician in San Diego, CA. This long-term contractual role supports lab, office, and GMP facility operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. Responsibilities include maintenance of building systems and responding to maintenance requests.

The ideal candidate has over 4 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in biotech or lab settings, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, or lab environments preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, building utilities, and maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Support building utilities and lab operations.
• Respond to work orders and facility alarms.
• Maintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentation.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers.
• Support GMP and laboratory environments.
