Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain multiple store locations in the Austin area. You will start from home and travel to sites to perform routine upkeep and repairs.

Required are 2 years of maintenance experience, a good driving record, and the ability to work independently with strong customer service. Training will be provided for tanning booths and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and construction experience required, multi-unit experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Excellent driving record; driving record check required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project) and good communication.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of building maintenance systems.
• Travel to locations within the Austin area as needed.

Palm Beach Tan, the leader of indoor tanning with over 600 locations nationwide, is looking for a Facilities Technician in the Austin area.

Responsibilities

• Providing general maintenance to store locations throughout above mentioned area


• Repairing general items such as minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, etc


• Maintaining tanning booths and UV free spray booths (training provided)


• General carpentry including sheetrock repair, painting


• Working with store operations staff; communicating with store management and vendors

Qualifications

• Excellent driving record (driving record check required)
