Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is supporting a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing and energy-technology company in Northern Nevada. We are seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain critical building systems and production-support equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical/mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance and supporting upgrades. Flexibility for shifts/overtime is needed; CMMS and HVAC familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Industrial facilities or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with motors, control circuits, pumps and industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of safe electrical and mechanical working practices.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding operating environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime or weekends when required.
• Experience with CMMS platforms, HVAC or building-management systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Read electrical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise operational downtime
• Support new equipment installation and facilities upgrades
• Record maintenance activity and ensure compliance with safety procedures

We would like to hear from candidates with:
