Job description

Salary: USD50 - USD60 per hour

We are recruiting experienced Facilities Technicians and Industrial Electricians to support the operation and maintenance of a rapidly expanding industrial manufacturing facility in Northern Nevada.

Several opportunities are available, including:

Medium-Voltage Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot facility systems and production-support equipment.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and general building systems.
• Maintain low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment and distribution systems.
• Support HVAC systems, compressors, generators and other facility infrastructure.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Diagnose electrical faults involving motor controls, drives, PLCs and related components.
• Complete daily inspections, maintenance requests and equipment checks.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and circuit modifications.
• Coordinate contractors and third-party maintenance providers.
• Prepare work plans, parts lists, maintenance records and as-built documentation.
• Operate forklifts, cranes and small construction equipment where qualified.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, assess job hazards and complete pre-task planning.
• Support wider facilities and operations teams as required.

Experience Required

• Applicants should have relevant experience within facilities maintenance, manufacturing, mining, power generation, utilities or another industrial environment.
• At least two years of facilities, maintenance or production-support experience.
• Five or more years of industrial or commercial journeyman-level electrical experience.
• A Nevada Journeyman Electrician licence or eight years of qualified electrical experience.
• Experience working with electrical systems from low voltage through 480 VAC.
• Experience operating or maintaining medium-voltage equipment up to 34.5kV.
• Knowledge of substations, switchgear, transformers and power distribution systems.
• Experience with HVAC, compressors, generators, building automation or light construction.
• The ability to interpret electrical prints, schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
• A working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Substation maintenance training would be advantageous.

• Stand, bend, climb and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
