Job summary

Acutronic is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain the safety, cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition of our Pittsburgh facilities. This role performs routine and preventive maintenance, coordinates contractors and inspections, and supports company events and facility projects.

Your responsibilities include inspecting facility systems, performing minor repairs, responding to requests, and maintaining orderly records and inventories to ensure smooth operations across our campus.

Qualifications

• Two years of facilities maintenance, vendor management, or related experience.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintaining facility records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve basic facility issues
• Replace light bulbs, filters, and other maintenance supplies
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance
• Maintain tools, equipment, work areas, and maintenance supplies in an organized condition
• Monitor facility conditions and report major repairs, safety concerns, or other issues to management
• Coordinate outside contractors, vendors, inspections, and service visits
• Maintain records related to contractors, inspections, elevators, sprinkler systems, and other facility services
• Assist with event and relocation setup and breakdown, including moving furniture, tables, chairs, tents, and equipment
• Support preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
