Job summary

Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable Facilities Technician to join our Orlando team at College Park Towers, a senior community with 170 units. You will perform maintenance tasks, coordinate with Directors, and help manage make-ready of apartments.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of property maintenance experience, owns tools, and can work with residents and vendors. A valid driver's license is preferred. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, appliances (stoves, dishwashers, disposals, refrigerators) and basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry.
• Minimum 3 years property maintenance experience and ability to lift heavy items.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license preferred.

• Inspect and repair equipment across the property.

Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Technician to join our progressively growing team in Orlando. College Park Towers is a SENIOR community consisting of 2 buildings and a 170 units total. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and for continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements:

• Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must have his/her own tools.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
