Job summary

Silver Tree Residential is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician to join our Coastal Haven team in Corpus Christi, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and make-ready tasks across 104 senior apartment homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality living environments for residents.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience, the ability to work with directors, residents, and vendors, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years property maintenance experience.
• Ability to walk property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks.
• Own tools and valid Driver's License are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors in maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
• Inspect, schedule, and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Handle work orders promptly and interact with residents, vendors and staff.
• Support in make-ready of vacant apartments for new move-ins.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC systems and common appliances.

is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Technician to join our progressively growing team. Coastal Haven is comprised of 104 apartment homes for SENIORS. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and for continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements:

• Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must have his/her own tools.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
