Our client is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity in Lansing, MI. 2nd and 3rd shift available.

Overview

The Facilities Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance support for the assigned buildings, ensuring they are safe, secure, and well-maintained.

2nd Shift: 2:00PM-10:00PM
3rd Shift: 10:00PM-6:00AM

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.

• Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.

• Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management.

• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.

• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 5-7 years of experience required.

• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
