Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Logistics and External Relations, the Facility Manager performs maintenance and repair work on buildings and grounds across various facilities.

Our primary goal at Superior Air-Ground Ambulance is to provide high-quality support to our employees. Achieving this depends on staff professionalism, punctuality, attendance, cooperation, organization, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general handyman skills are required.
• This role services multiple locations in Illinois; travel is necessary. A company vehicle and tools will be provided.
• Regular building repairs and maintenance, including:
• Lighting fixtures, bulbs
• Flooring
• Furniture repair, blinds installation
• Bathroom & kitchen fixtures
• Water heaters
• Power reels
• Power outlets
• TV mounting
• General labor tasks such as:
• Removing debris
• Furniture setup for new stations
• Items movement for storage
• Occasional use of a moving truck may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance skills.
• Effective communication with customers regarding timelines and needs.
• Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent kneeling, stooping, stretching, bending, leaning; ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent hearing, listening, speech clarity, reaching, touching, typing.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Ability to perform visual inspections.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Working Environment

Work involves outdoor and indoor settings with occasional exposure to hazards, blood/body fluids, fumes, odors, temperature changes, noise, mechanical and electrical equipment.

Salary Range

USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 per hour, based on experience and full-time schedule.
