Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility infrastructure and critical building systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC systems, chillers, Clean Dry Air (CDA) systems, compressors, electrical infrastructure, and plumbing within commercial, industrial, semiconductor, or cleanroom facilities. Strong troubleshooting skills, experience ordering parts, and coordinating with external vendors are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, and CDA systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and infrastructure to ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain electrical infrastructure and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Perform plumbing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Inspect facility systems and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur.
• Order maintenance parts, tools, and equipment as required.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Support routine facility inspections and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow applicable safety procedures.
• Assist with drilling, welding, and other facility repair activities as needed.
• Support facility maintenance and management activities to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of hands-on facility maintenance or facility management experience.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems and chillers.
• Knowledge of Clean Dry Air (CDA) systems and compressors.
• Experience with electrical infrastructure and plumbing maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
• Experience ordering parts and coordinating with external vendors.
• Ability to work onsite in Milpitas, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) preferred/required as specified by the client.
• Candidates must be interested in a 12-month contract position and not seeking full-time employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or industrial facilities, semiconductor facilities, cleanrooms, data centers, or large corporate campuses.
• EPA, OSHA 10, HVAC, or plumbing-related certifications.
• Forklift certification or license.
• Experience with welding and drilling.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Pay Scale: $25/hr -$27/hr on W2
