Position Summary

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventive work to ensure the Club’s buildings, systems, and grounds remain in excellent condition. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of The Fall Line’s facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and members.
• Assist in the setup, support, and breakdown of special events, including moving equipment or furniture as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in all maintenance and workshop areas.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and tools to ensure readiness.
• Support landscaping and groundskeeping teams when needed to uphold overall Club standards.
• Maintain fireplaces and firepits including maintenance, repair, restocking, resetting and lighting of each.
• On road vehicle maintenance including safety inspections, preventative maintenance, washing and detailing, and delivery to member locations.
• Off road vehicle maintenance including safety inspections, preventative maintenance, washing and detailing, and delivery to member locations.
• Participate in the "On Call" program within the recurring cycle.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in other areas of the Club as needed to support overall operations and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum prior experience in facilities maintenance, building repair, or related trade required.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC-R, and carpentry preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
