Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Manchester, IA

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Technician to support daily operations within a plant setting. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with general facility projects, and supporting production tasks as needed. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general facility upkeep, including trash removal and maintaining cleanliness throughout and around the plant
• Assist with various facility-related projects as assigned
• Support production operations during downtime, including parts pulling and trailer decking
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals

Requirements

• Ability to routinely lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Ability to climb stairs, and capability to push and pull materials as needed
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus, but not required
