Job summary

TCCI Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Groundskeeper/Maintenance Support to maintain the facility grounds, ensure safety, and support general maintenance across the site. Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds, landscaping, and outdoor common areas.
• Operate riding, zero-turn and push mowers; trim and edge as needed.
• Safely operate forklifts and small tractors for maintenance tasks.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and drainage maintenance.

Summary:

The Groundskeeper / Maintenance Support team member maintains the appearance, safety, and functionality of the facility grounds and provides general maintenance support throughout the manufacturing site. This role requires a motivated individual who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and can safely operate equipment including forklifts, tractors, lawn maintenance equipment, and other facility support tools.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks that contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Grounds and Landscaping Maintenance
• Maintain all facility grounds, landscaping, and outdoor common areas.
• Mow grass, trim around buildings and fences, edge sidewalks, and maintain parking lots.
• Plant, water, weed, mulch, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and landscape beds.
• Remove leaves, debris, and litter from company property.
• Assist with snow and ice removal activities during winter months.
• Maintain drainage ditches, retention areas, and other exterior property features.
• Equipment Operation
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, departments, supplies, and equipment.
• Operate small tractors and utility vehicles for ground maintenance and facility support activities.
• Utilize lawn care equipment including:

• Riding mowers
• Zero-turn mowers
• Push mowers
• String trimmers
• Hedge trimmers
• Leaf blowers
• Chain saws (when properly trained)

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Facility Maintenance Support
• Support the maintenance department with general facility upkeep projects.
• Assist with painting, cleaning, organization, and basic repairs throughout the facility.
• Perform routine inspections of building exteriors and report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with moving equipment, materials, and inventory as needed.
• Support plant improvement and housekeeping initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance storage areas and workshops.
• Safety and Compliance
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain safe work practices while operating equipment and performing maintenance activities.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Participate in required safety and equipment training programs.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven attendance record.
• Experience with lawn care, landscaping, groundskeeping, or facility maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate tractors, mowers, and outdoor power equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience operating forklifts and industrial material handling equipment.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with snow removal equipment.
• General maintenance, carpentry, or facility repair.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Work in heat, cold, rain, and other outdoor conditions.
• Safely operate powered equipment and vehicles.
• Perform physically demanding work for extended periods.

Benefits Include

Pay Rate: $18 - $21 per hour

Schedule: First Shift - 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
