Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs work at height under JSA and Permit to Work.
• Assists with sea container load in/out.
• Assists with all heavy lift load in/out.
• Assists with housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
• Maintains facility grounds and green belt areas.
• Cleans and maintains facility shop areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Facility Manager.
• Complies with production, safety, and quality procedures.

Aksa Power Generation USA is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our growing team in Conroe, Texas. The ideal candidate will join a facilities maintenance team that is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a 19 acre manufacturing facility with 200,000 square feet of under roof manufacturing space. Duties will include troubleshooting equipment and building systems issues, repair of electrical and plumbing systems, equipment installations, PM activities, and equipment inspections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows all established safety protocols including LOTO and JSA requirements.
• Performs routine preventative, predictive, and reactionary maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Assists with troubleshooting problems with equipment and performs repairs as required.
• Performs required inspections as directed by the Facility Manager or Facility Supervisor.
• Performs work at height activities under JSA and Permit to Work protocol.
• Assists with sea container load in and load out.
• Assists with all heavy lift load in and load out activities.
• Assists with housekeeping and maintains company grounds.
• Maintains facility grounds and surrounding green belt areas.
• Cleans and maintains Facility Shop Areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Facility Manager or Facility Supervisor.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow Aksa Power Generation USA's production, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Education and Training – High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management.
2. Physical Requirements – Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
3. Experience – At least two years' experience or as deemed sufficient by management.
