The position of Mid-Level Technician will be based in locations identified above and will be part of the FM&C team. The role will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Facilities Management & Construction – US.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the repair and maintenance of JOE facilities and equipment with general supervision and in accordance with approved JOE policies, procedures and project plans. The Mid-Level Technician is expected to collaborate with leadership, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders by completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs semi-skilled and skilled repair and maintenance tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Completes all assigned work orders within the allotted SLA guidelines.
  • Manages all assigned work orders on CMMS and assists with providing specifications for quotes as necessary.
  • Diagnoses root causes of equipment and systems failures for the purpose of identifying equipment or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications and diagrams.
  • Assists with scheduling, budgeting, reporting, cost control, and inspections/monitoring as it relates to assigned work orders

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and above with 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in general facilities repair and maintenance
  • EPA Certification required
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment across multiple markets and time zones
  • Excellent time management, organizational, coordination, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative
  • Must be flexible for travel and working off-hours as needed for project requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in a Computerized Maintenance Management System preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
