Base pay range

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1-3 years of experience as a building and general maintenance technician

Experience working on building renovation projects spanning from small repairs to major facility upgrades

Ability to lift, maneuver, and handle academic building equipment and materials including ladders, tools, paint, etc.

Valid Driver's License

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience working on electrical and HVAC renovation projects at a commercial client

Experience operating a company vehicle

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the day-to-day operations of a university academic unit facilities and maintenance requests Arrange repairs and perform significant upgrades to facility functionality and aesthetics Keeps building records of project activity for reporting measures Operates material handling equipment and works with student workers as a leader and liaison to campus-wide projects Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with day-to-day facilities operations requests and major academic renovations as part of an academic unit with a major state university client. They will support the supply of material, request fulfillment, and project progress oversight for building upgrades while reporting to a facilities team with insight across the university functions. They will work onsite 5 days a week with a small team across the different academic unit buildings to upkeep on facility requests and renovations on a supply/demand basis. They should be highly organized and detail-oriented from a junior technician background, with safety and regulation knowledge on hand.
