Status: Full-Time/ Part-Time

Reports to: General Manager

Customary Day/Hours: Monday – Friday. General daily hours 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM (Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, emergency calls, and overtime as necessary).

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician with a minimum of three years of experience in restaurant facilities management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands‑on repairs and maintenance throughout the building and equipment. Prior experience in restaurant equipment, HVAC, and refrigeration repair is preferred.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Complete minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and workspace setup.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, air handlers, exhaust fans, unit heaters, and split systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as directed.
• Maintain facility grounds, including seasonal upkeep and minor landscaping duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with emergency response and facility-related incidents as needed.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in facility management, operations or project management required.

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Bilingual skills preferred.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch; constant standing throughout shift is required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
