Job summary

Arcadia Beverage Co. seeks a Facilities Technician to support maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of our manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe, efficient and compliant operation.

You will perform routine maintenance on facility equipment (ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, wastewater), inspect systems, help build maintenance schedules using the MaintainX CMMS, coordinate with contractors, and support OSHA safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities maintenance within the food & beverage sector or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and facility management practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment (ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, wastewater) to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment and dock gear to identify issues and address them proactively.
  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules using the MaintainX CMMS.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Support safety and OSHA compliance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.

If so, we are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team at our leading-edge food and beverage manufacturing facility.

As a Facilities Technician, you will support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our facility operations. Your role will be essential in ensuring a well-functioning, safe workplace, protecting our team, and advancing our operational efficiency goals.

Available shifts:
  • Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Wednesday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Overtime available

What You’ll Do
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment and systems (Ammonia Refrigeration, Boilers, Compressed Air Systems, Waste Water Treatment, etc.), ensuring optimal functionality, and maintaining regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment (Fire Extinguishers, Eye Wash stations, Dock Equipment) to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures using the MaintainX CMMS system
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Support the implementation of safety and compliance programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and other applicable standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair needs to ensure equipment reliability and OSHA compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure facility needs are met and operational efficiency is achieved.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness planning, ensuring response strategies are up-to-date and effective.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility operations and safety performance.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and food safety by following company rules and standards, enforcing the requirements, and communicating violations or concerns to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.

The pay:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
