Job summary

Bally's Corporation in South Lake Tahoe seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to service guest areas and back-of-house facilities. You will handle preventive and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool systems.

Join a team that responds to emergencies, coordinates with fellow engineers, and upholds OSHA safety standards. High school diploma, 1–3 years’ experience, OSHA certification, and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Completes work orders as they come in for issues on property relating to building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and electrical issues.
2. Interacts professionally with guests.
3. Responds to emergencies as requested.
4. Coordinates work with other maintenance personnel.
5. May perform a variety of maintenance tasks, depending upon experience and level of certification.
6. Prepares records related to the work performed and materials and supplies used.
7. Complies with all safety requirements as outlined by OSHA.
8. Must be able to wear a mask while working.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance required.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

Must be able to obtain any required State, County and/or Local licenses/registration, if applicable.

OSHA Certification required.

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge preferred.
