Job summary

PRIDE Industries in Texas is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to HVAC Technicians, Electricians, and General Maintenance Workers. You will assign service orders, oversee routine and preventative maintenance, and ensure timely completion.

Under broad supervision, you diagnose issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, supervise safety, coordinate with contractors, and support energy management programs.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of repair and maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to estimate time and materials and draft proposals.
• ISO 9000 knowledge.
• Supervisory skills to hire and develop staff and manage performance.
• Strong oral and written business English communication.
• Ability to lead and develop a team to meet goals while following safety policies.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Inspects the work of crews and provides guidance.
• Schedules and prioritizes tasks while ensuring safety and procedures.
• Oversees outside contractors.
• Monitors maintenance projects and energy management programs.
• Acts as a technical resource to field personnel.
