Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Manatí, PR is seeking a Facilities Systems Specialist to oversee field execution of facilities and utilities maintenance, repair, and installation activities, providing hands-on technical guidance to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will support preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and help drive performance and continuous improvement across utilities and facility systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certificate in electricity with six years of experience.
• Licensed Electrician in Puerto Rico is required.
• Experience maintaining utilities and facilities equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems.
• Ability to read technical documents and CMMS/BMS systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight and inspection of maintenance and installation activities.
• Support preventive and corrective work orders for utilities and building systems.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and water systems for safety and compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in installation, startup, commissioning, and qualification of equipment.
• Plan work by identifying labor, parts, and contractor needs.
• Monitor critical utilities and perform periodic system inspections.
• Provide guidance to technicians and contractors as needed.
