Job description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

  1. 1) Utilizing knowledge of engineering principles and practices applicable to a wide range of engineering (including civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, and industrial) relative to the sustainment, restoration, and modernization of real property facilities;
  2. 2) Preparing scopes of work and general estimates of fees, negotiating task orders, monitoring work performance and certifying the final product produced by the contractor;
  3. 3) Performing studies, evaluating various aspects of the maintenance management and facility management systems to identify, analyze, and recommend improved practices and systems for a wide range of facility maintenance areas including work generation and classification, work control, condition inspection, planning and estimating, work scheduling, work accomplishment, work appraisal, and maintenance management.
