Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Supervisor for second shift. You will oversee daily Facilities Tech work, coordinate repairs, and enforce safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise 2+ staff, manage vendor relations, support 24/7 emergency needs, and advise on expenditures. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of related experience are required. Proficiency with powered tools and general facilities knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to use powered tools safely.
• Working knowledge of general facilities.
• Demonstrates good safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports local facilities emergency needs, 24/7.
• Prioritizes daily work of Facilities Techs.
• Supervises local projects as needed.
• Advises manager of expenditures.
• Interacts daily with subordinates and peer groups.
• Provides direct supervision to professional and/or skilled staff.
• Typically supervises 2 or more direct reports.
• Performs basic to moderately complex repairs of equipment, including electrical.
• Use a computer for simple functions.

Responsibilities:

• Supports local facilities emergency needs, 24/7
• Prioritizes daily work of Facilities Techs.
• Supervises local projects as needed.
• Advises manager of expenditures.
• Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups.
• Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees.
• Typically supervises 2 or more direct reports.
• Performs basic to moderately complex repairs of equipment, including electrical.
• Use a computer for simple functions.

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to use powered tools safely.
• Working knowledge of basic construction tools.
• Demonstrates good safety practices.
• Ability to manage vendors.
• Working knowledge of general facilities.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures/policies to determine appropriate action.
• Use a computer for simple functions.
