260 day contract, 2-Year Contract

Starting Salary: $100,879

Minimum Qualifications

• Education – minimum associate degree or its equivalency.
• Evidence of a clear criminal record.
• Meets all mandated health requirements.
• Minimum of five (5) years of managerial and supervisory experience in facilities maintenance/construction.
• Availability to respond to building/service emergencies at any time.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry trades, and blueprint reading.

Representative Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Promotes a favorable image of the school district.
• Performs all functions necessary to carry out assigned duties.
• Carries out the district’s preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
• Manages and supervises maintenance employees and custodians daily.
• Monitors supply inventories to maintain reliable service levels.
• Manages projects, repairs equipment, and installs replacement equipment as needed.
• Complies with all safety and health regulations and inspections by regulatory agencies.
• Maintains effective oral and written communication skills.
• Possesses problem-solving abilities.
• Monitors weather conditions and ensures facilities are equipped to be safe for students, staff, and visitors.
• Oversees contractors for testing, repairs, and installations of facilities and equipment.
• Utilizes computer technology skills related to HVAC, alarms, mechanical systems, phones, and computers.
