Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in either plumbing, electrical, or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds.
• Provides oversight and direction for facility and grounds maintenance activities, including building repairs, painting, landscaping, equipment, and general upkeep.
• Coordinates staff assignments and departmental requests, ensures work meets established specifications and safety standards, and manages tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitors schedules, staffing needs, productivity, and records while resolving work-related issues and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Works collaboratively with other departments and performs hands-on maintenance duties as needed.
