Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment. You will work with management to oversee maintenance staff, contractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has three years of supervisory facility maintenance experience and a Grade 2 Stationary Engineer license. You must be able to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking and obtain Licensure from the Virginia Gaming Control

Qualifications

• Three years of supervising facility maintenance staff.
• Grade 2 Stationary Engineer license required.
• Exposure to alcohol and smoking environments.
• Ability to secure licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections.
• Coach maintenance staff for skill development.
• Operate central utility plant including boilers, chillers, switchgear and generators.
• Coordinate small projects with departments and vendors.
• Perform inspections and address issues with team members.
• Track material and parts stock.

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of the buildings, grounds, and associated equipment and structures. They work with the management team to oversee maintenance staff, contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections
• Coaches maintenance staff to develop skills for team member development.
• Operates the central utility plant which includes duel-fuel boilers, centrifugal chillers, medium voltage switchgear and diesel generators.
• Coordinates small projects scheduling with other departments and vendors as needed.
• Regularly performs inspections to identify areas of need and addresses them with team members.
• Track material and parts stock
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Three (3) years’ experience in leading or supervising facility maintenance staff
• Requires Grade 2 Stationary Engineer license.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Casino is large and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
• Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
