Job summary

Live! Casino Virginia is seeking an electronics technician to repair, maintain, and monitor slot machines and related equipment, ensuring a top-tier gaming experience on the casino floor.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a two-year electronics degree preferred, and the ability to read schematics and write technical statements. You must be able to work in a fast-paced, smoky environment and obtain required Virginia Gaming licenses.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Two-year Electronic Degree preferred or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
• Exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises; able to work in such environment.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or applicable entity.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain slot-related equipment on the casino floor.
• Repair and maintain slot-related equipment in the slot shop.
• Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot-related equipment.
• Maintain proper gaming logs to comply with state and internal regulations.
• Ensure an enjoyable gaming experience by keeping equipment in top operating condition.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, cooperative, and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Repairs, maintains, and monitors the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Fills payout reserve containers. Participates in the physical move of any slot related equipment.

Must-Haves

• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
