Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to train and supervise custodians.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.
• Such alternatives as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises cleaning and maintenance of boilers and major equipment.
• Assists in snow removal.
• Requisitions and receives supplies and equipment.
• Maintains inventories of all supplies.
• Lays out and schedules work for other custodians.
• Assumes general responsibilities for security and fire safety of buildings.
• Monitors heating and cooling systems.
• Keeps the building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• This position will require lifting, mobility and stamina to complete the assignments.
• Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by Superintendent/Board.
