Job summary
Seminole Gaming in Tampa is seeking a Facility Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and trades staff. You will manage projects, perform site inspections, and ensure compliance with fire, safety, and environmental codes while coordinating with other departments to minimize guest disruption.
The role requires organizational skills, experience in facilities maintenance, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies within a casino environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
- 1–3 years in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance.
- Casino environment experience preferred.
- Strong organization and prioritization in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion of projects by maintenance mechanics
- Perform routine field inspections on-site and at off-site locations
- Prepare technical reports and maintains logbooks as required
- Maintain and apply knowledge of applicable fire, health, safety, and environmental standards as well as relevant state, local, and national codes
- React in a timely manner to emergency situations
- Coordinate maintenance and modification projects with appropriate department to ensure minimal guest interruption
- Instruct and train others as appropriate
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
