Job summary

Medtronic in Plymouth, MN, is seeking an facilities coordinator to manage the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and spaces. You will lead teams, plan resources, and support business needs through strategic facility planning and execution.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 1+ year of facilities experience. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems is preferred, with strong collaboration and project management

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will manage the design, planning, construction, and ongoing maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. You will oversee facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective environments, while leading teams, managing resources, and supporting business needs through strategic facility planning and execution.

This role is onsite supporting our Plymouth Facilities

  • Manages the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates for equipment, labor, materials, and related costs
  • Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department
  • Oversees coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion
  • Establishes and oversees health and safety standards, as applicable
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient and effective operation of the function
  • Ensures corrective and preventative maintenance occur in a timely fashion and that work orders are recorded in CMMS
  • Coordinates contractors to complete projects and tasks as necessary

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$74,400.00 - $111,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
