Job summary

Jobtailor in United States, Tennessee seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead a team of Technicians across multiple sites. You will manage workloads, schedules, and safety compliance while coordinating with internal customers and service providers to maintain high standards of facility operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ facilities experience required.
  • QSR facilities experience highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair, and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and applicable safety precautions.
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and monitor work schedules.
  • Ability to oversee and inspect facility projects.
  • Ability to monitor adherence to departmental goals, including budget.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose facilities issues.
  • Ability to contribute to process and procedure development.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to facilities needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership to Technicians.
  • Valid Driver’s License without work restrictions; must pass MVR screening.
  • Ability to work 45–50 hours weekly and meet the listed physical and environmental demands

Responsibilities

  • Supervise multiple Facilities Technicians.
  • Manage technician territories and responsibilities for efficiency.
  • Oversee technician workloads at assigned sites and CMMS.
  • Approve timecards, purchases, and stock orders.
  • Train, coach, and develop Technicians.
  • Develop relationships with internal customers and service providers.
  • Oversee timely ordering and return of parts.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure work orders and projects are completed on time to high quality.
  • Provide comprehensive facilities assessments and analysis.
  • Communicate work order updates verbally and in writing.
  • Schedule technicians for on-call, off-hour, weekend, and holiday emergencies.
  • Respond to emergencies with appropriate urgency.
  • Operate a company-issued fleet vehicle.
  • Attend staff and mandatory meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Supervise multiple Facilities Technicians

  • Manage technician territories and responsibilities for efficiency

  • Manage and oversee technician workloads at assigned sites and within the CMMS platform

  • Approve technician timecards, credit card purchases, supply purchases, and stock purchases

  • Train, coach, and develop Facilities Technicians and Maintenance Technicians

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and service providers

  • Oversee timely ordering and return of parts

  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices, OSHA and regulatory compliance

  • Ensure assigned work orders and projects are completed promptly and to a high-quality standard

  • Provide comprehensive facilities assessments and analysis

  • Communicate work order updates and critical information verbally and in writing

  • Schedule technicians for on-call, off-hour, weekend, and holiday emergencies

  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate urgency

  • Operate a company-issued fleet vehicle

  • Attend staff and other required meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned
