Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain, NC seeks a Facilities Supervisor to manage maintenance operations and ensure a safe environment. You will guide a team responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, coordinating repairs and preventive work.

Lead project planning with the Facility Manager, review service orders for timeliness and quality, and supervise daily activities while enforcing safety standards and staffing plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Must obtain a gaming license.
  • US work authorization.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and explain blueprints and schematics.
  • OSHA certification a plus.
  • Proficient communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with quick problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repairs for the casino.
  • Lead all maintenance fields and trades within Facilities Department (HVAC, Electrical, Building Maintenance).
  • Plan and coordinate projects with Facility Manager; assign, schedule, coordinate, and monitor completion.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and service orders are scheduled and completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Inventory and order supplies for assigned team members; ensure tools and equipment are safe.
  • Oversee emergency alarms and critical systems; participate in drills and safety routines.
  • Complete performance evaluations and assist with hiring; coach and discipline as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to the department.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the building maintenance operations and critical systems support to sustain a best and safest environment at Two Kings Casino. This position provides guidance to the building maintenance and critical system support team members. The Facilities Supervisor leads their team to complete all duties and meet or exceed all respective goals set forth by Two Kings Casino leadership and the Facility Department.Core Responsibilities: Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Two Kings Casino policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, reviewing and directing work; evaluation and appraising performance; rewarding and discipline employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Lead all maintenance fields and treads within Facilities Department (i.e., HVAC, Electrical, and Building Maintenance).Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repairs for the casino.Oversee team members that install, inspect, repair, and maintain building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.Maintains active role with Facility Manger in planning and coordination of projects and task assigned to team; to include assigning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring completion.Supervises and inspects completed work assignments and projects to ensure department and Two Kings Casino standards are met.Ensure preventive maintenance and received services orders for repairs and maintenance are scheduled and completed within established timelines and quality standards.Evaluates service needs, equipment, and work methods of team members, and works with management to address needs and complete order requests.Inventories and order supplies for assigned team members.Ensures all tools, supplies, and equipment are available and safe to team for all work functions.Monitors, responds, and reports to any critical systems operation alarm and/or alters (i.e., fire, power, central facility failures, etc.).Active role in Emergency Action Plan, building Continuity Plan, and emergency drills.Complete performance evaluations for assigned team members.Assist with hiring process (i.e., review resumes and interview candidates).Coach, mentors and administer disciplinary action for assigned team members.Perform other duties as assigned to the department.Technical Skills: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Control SystemsQualifications• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Facilities maintenance and/or similar position• High School diploma or GED required• Must be able to obtain a gaming license• US work authorization (Required)• Must be able to read, understand, and explain blueprints and schematics• Must be able to understand the SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and able to give safety instructions to team members• Osha Certification a plus.• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook, Excel, and Word.• Excellent communication and time management skills.• Ability to work well with people, in a team environment and to communicate effectively both written & oral• Must have ability to multi-task and work under pressure with quick problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Standing and walking 100% of the time• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under short-time constraints, and with established deadlines• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and pulling• Visual acuity and hearing• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, hot, noisy, and smoky conditions• Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays
