San Pablo Lytton Casino of the Lytton Rancheria seeks a Facilities Supervisor to establish standards and manage daily maintenance operations. The role involves supervising the Facilities Department, overseeing training, and ensuring safe, compliant operations for all physical assets and infrastructure.

You will lead preventive maintenance, supervise trades, and coordinate with vendors while adhering to budget constraints and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience with Building Management Systems / Building Automation Systems and Fire Life Safety.

  • Conducts employee evaluations and addresses concerns.

Job description

Establishes and promotes the safety and mechanical operations of the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes but not limited to the following)
  • Establishes standards and procedures for the Facilities Department.
  • Designs, implements and oversees a comprehensive training program for the Facilities Department.
  • Maintains daily schedule and shift assignments.
  • Completes daily rounds of the property to ensure the shift and equipment are running properly.
  • Purchases and maintains all inventories and controls of par stock items for the Facilities Department.
  • Instructs new hires on the Emergency evacuation routs, procedures and the assembly points in the event of an emergency.
  • Sets and meets consistent quality and safety standards.
  • Investigates new and improved equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures all projects meet budget constraints and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conducts employee evaluations as required and on a timely basis.
  • Addresses employee problems or concerns in an expeditious manner.
  • Attend all department and or company, and training meetings as required.
  • Requires a valid driver license to operate cleaning and maintenance vehicles.
  • Must be able to operate scissor lift, forklift, and other equipment. Must be able to be certified in scissor lift, forklift, and other equipment.
  • Badges and escorts vendors for routine repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency calls
  • Trouble shoots electrical, mechanical and plumbing issues.
  • Supervising and guiding facility workers during the following:
    • plumbing repairs, lighting replacements,
    • carpentry work, filter changes,
    • HVAC repairs, heating or cooling ventilation issues,
    • painting projects, roof repairs,
    • flooring repairs, wall repairs,
    • installation of glass, screens, refrigerators and ranges,
    • minor grounds and irrigation repairs,
    • operating trenchers and augers, carpet and floor cleanings,
    • liquid spills, furniture assembly, manual and power tool usage, operating lifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Should have previous supervisory work experience in the same or similar field.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position supervises Facilities Department team members.
  • Makes recommendations to the Facilities Director regarding Team Member relations including hiring, disciplinary actions and separations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma required.
  • Prefer a minimum of three years’ experience in a Building Maintenance and Operations Supervisory position.
  • Must have experience in the use and operation of Building Management Systems / Building Automation Systems and Fire Life Safety.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be proficient in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Basic Math skills
REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License at all times of employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
