Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a Facilities Supervisor responsible for initiating and maintaining inventory controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial inventory information in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role includes supervising facilities staff, creating purchase orders, sourcing contractors and vendors, maintaining maintenance records, and training teams in safety and maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 years of facility maintenance experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Must have experience selecting contractors and creating purchase orders
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to function independently and multi-task

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, plan, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of Facilities staff
• Create purchase orders for parts and materials needed; monitor spare inventory stock
• Supervise outside contractors for routine maintenance work per contract
• Source vendors for parts and material needed for Facilities and other departments
• Maintain and update all facility maintenance records and work orders
• Train facilities staff and other departments in facility maintenance, safety methods, procedures, and techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

This position is responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, plan, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of Facilities staff.
• Ensure each job is completed and follow up with the requester.
• Create purchase orders for parts and materials needed, monitor and control spare inventory stock
• Assist in selecting outside contractors.
• Source vendors for parts and material needed for Facilities and other departments.
• Maintain and update all facility maintenance records.
• Supervise outside contractors for routine maintenance work per contract.
• Assist with modifying and maintaining company improvement programs such as the recycling program.
• Maintain records of Facilities work order, andgeneral incident reports.
• Train facilities staff as well as other departments in facility maintenance, safety methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
