Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, functionality, cleanliness, and overall appearance of all Credit Union facilities across multiple states.
• Ensure branch buildings, grounds, parking lots, landscaping, and exterior areas are safe and professionally maintained.
• Coordinate general facility maintenance: lighting, minor plumbing/building repairs, equipment maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems with seasonal startup and winter shutdown procedures.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other building systems for proper operation and timely repair.
• Coordinate inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs for facility systems and equipment.
• Manage facility-related construction: new branch construction, renovations, updates to acquired buildings.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and services; ensure safe, efficient work per standards.
• Respond to facility emergencies and after-hours maintenance as needed.
• Prepare annual reports for branch projects within the assigned budget.
• Travel regularly between branch locations to assess conditions and needs.

This position oversees the daily operation and upkeep of branch locations, ensuring buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems are maintained in a safe, clean, efficient, and professional manner for employees, members, and visitors.The Facilities Superintendent reports to the Branch Operations Manager and works closely with departmental managers throughout the organization. This position may also receive directives from the CFO and CEO as needed and may have direct supervisory responsibilities.This role is responsible for coordination and overseeing maintenance, repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects across the Credit Union footprint, including new branch construction, updates to newly acquired facilities, and ongoing maintenance of existing locations. The Facilities Superintendent must ensure all facilities remain operational, presentable, and compliant with applicable safety standards and organizational expectations.The Facilities Superintendent manages relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers for building systems, equipment, maintenance programs, and repair services.
