Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Facilities Specialist to ensure safe, compliant operation of the manufacturing facility's infrastructure and grounds, supporting production and employee safety.

You will partner with operations, engineering, EHS, and supply chain to maintain buildings, utilities, and equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage service contracts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and proficiency diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fluid systems/equipment.
• Experience working on material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead and jib cranes.
• Ability to work on-site during operational hours with occasional overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, water treatment, etc.).
• Repair, calibration, and replacement of production support infrastructure (boilers, chillers, waste treatment systems, forklifts, cranes, etc.).
• Coordinate service contracts, outside vendors, and contractors for facility repairs and capital projects.
• Ensure consumables are stocked and available to employees at all times, including restrooms and production floor.
