Job summary

Novo Nordisk - Boulder site is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support maintenance, repair, and scheduling with internal teams and external contractors. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and lab equipment, and ensure timely resolution of building operations issues.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in facility maintenance; a relevant certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience required.
• Certificate program for facilities, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities and Lab Managers in scheduling preventative maintenance agreements.
• Manage internal facilities systems and support EH&S, Engineering and Lab Support teams.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment including HVAC, Plumbing, Hoods and other equipment.
• Coordinate with facilities managers on maintenance services with external vendors and execute repairs from inception to resolution.
• Communicate to facilities manager and onsite vendors for repairs and maintenance.
• Familiar with R&D (non-GxP) laboratory practices related to tasks performed.
• Assist lab manager and facilities manager when contract engineers are on site.
• Help manage facilities software like the security system, work order system, BAS, etc.
• Perform other related duties as required.
