Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, carpentry, and repairs on site. You’ll work with power tools, support construction projects, and maintain grounds and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of maintenance experience, and US work authorization. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., with overtime as needed and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in general maintenance.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform new duties with minimal guidance.
• Assist with projects and respond to emergent repairs.
• Perform routine and non-routine duties independently.
• Diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
• Use power tools to complete tasks and projects.
• Complete and/or assist with carpentry projects.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Give general assistance to supervisor.
• Communicates effectively with client staff members.
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Majority of time spent on construction, drywall, and carpentry projects.
• Work independently and in a team environment on internal construction projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Learn and perform new duties with minimal guidance

• Understand technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job
• Use power tools to complete tasks and projects
• Complete and/or assist with carpentry projects
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Maintain outside grounds
• Give general assistance to supervisor
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Majority of time spent on various construction, drywall, and carpentry projects
• Working independently and in a team environment on internal construction projects of various size and scope
• Performs other duties as assigned
