Bastyr University is seeking a Facilities Specialist to ensure a safe, secure, and well-functioning campus. You will monitor access, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and help maintain buildings and grounds onsite at the Kenmore campus.
Responsibilities include coordinating moves, supporting environmental health and safety, responding to emergencies, and delivering professional, customer-focused service to students, staff, and visitors.

The Facilities Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well-functioning campus environment. Responsibilities include monitoring access, conducting security patrols, responding to incidents and emergencies, opening, closing and securing campus buildings. The team also manages building maintenance, repairs, and landscaping, ensuring facilities and grounds remain safe, clean, and welcoming year-round. In addition, they support environmental health and safety compliance, identify and address potential hazards, and promote sustainability initiatives. By delivering reliable operations and professional, customer-focused assistance, the Facilities team helps create an environment where students, staff, and visitors can thrive.
Although each position has a primary location, you may be asked to work at another location to support a project, or provide shift coverage.
