The Clinic @ Central Oklahoma Family Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Specialist to assist the Director of Facilities in maintaining safe, smooth operation across all locations. The role focuses on repairs, routine maintenance, and equipment installation in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, performing repairs or recommending replacements, assembling furniture, changing filters, and coordinating with the Safety Committee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of repair and maintenance.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists with safety inspections monthly at all locations.
• Makes repairs to broken equipment or recommends replacement equipment.
• Assembles any new office furniture or equipment.
• Changes air filters and performs routine maintenance on equipment at all locations.
• Ensures preventive maintenance items are on hand, e.g. light bulbs, ballasts, air filters.
• Serves on Safety Committee as needed.
• Ensures necessary materials and tools are onsite as needed for construction.
• Performs general repairs, as needed, at each facility.
• Participates in departmental in-service training, emergency drills, etc.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

DEPARTMENT: Facilities

NATURE OF POSITION: The Facilities Specialist will assist the Director of Facilities with all duties and responsibilities of maintaining and ensuring the safe and smooth operation of The Clinic (COFMC) and in keeping with The Clinic’s mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate preferred
• Extensive knowledge of repair and maintenance
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

RESPONSIBILITES

• Assists with safety inspections monthly at all locations
• Makes repairs to broken equipment if possible or recommends replacement equipment
• Assembles any new office furniture or equipment
• Changes air filters and performs routine maintenance on equipment at all locations
• Ensures preventive maintenance items are on hand, i.e.light bulbs, ballasts, air filters, ice thaw (for adverse winter conditions)
• Serves on Safety Committee as needed
• Ensures necessary materials and tools are onsite as needed for construction
• Ensures all construction is done in a safe and efficient manner and that all safety equipment is in goodorder and available
• Performs general repairs, as needed, at each facility
• Participates in The Clinic’s departmental inservice training, emergency drills, etc.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
