Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing and optimizing the utilization of space to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient care, and support strategic planning initiatives.Qualifications
Conduct comprehensive analyses of current space utilization, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with clinical, research, and administrative teams to understand their space needs and develop strategies to optimize space allocation.
Assist in the planning and design of renovations and relocations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Create and maintain detailed space inventory databases, including square footage, occupancy rates, and functional use of spaces.
Develop and present reports and visualizations on space utilization metrics to hospital leadership and stakeholders.
Assists users with furniture selection.
Collaborates with entity to improve campus signage.
Utilize space utilization data to update and maintain record drawings for all locations.
Perform quality checks to ensure all employee and cost center data and poly-lines are properly uploaded into the enterprise systems.
Maintain library of finish standards.
Bachelor's Degree required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
Valid driver's license.
Experience in space analysis, facilities management, design / construction, office move management, or a related role within a healthcare setting 3-5 years.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Powerpoint.
Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software strongly preferred.
Familiarity with space management software and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to facility design and space utilization.
Works well independently; enjoys learning new skills; constantly seeks a new challenge.
