The Facilities Site Supervisor serves as the on-site operational leader for Facilities Department functions across assigned South Louisiana Community College campuses and instructional locations. This position is responsible for supervising front-line facilities personnel and coordinating maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping, repair, and operational support activities to ensure campus facilities remain safe, functional, clean, secure, and operationally effective.This role supports the execution of preventative maintenance initiatives, repair operations, contractor coordination, facility inspections, and emergency response efforts while ensuring compliance with departmental standards, institutional policies, safety practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. The Facilities Site Supervisor also assists with balancing operational priorities and service delivery expectations across geographically distributed campus locations.The Facilities Site Supervisor serves as a primary operational liaison between campus stakeholders and the Facilities Department by cultivating professional relationships, maintaining effective communication, responding to operational concerns, and supporting a customer-service-oriented campus environment. This position is expected to exercise sound judgment, maintain operational awareness across multiple facilities, and support continuity of operations during emergencies, special events, and institutional disruptions.Successful candidates must possess strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; the ability to coordinate operations across multiple campus locations; and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. This position may require frequent travel between campuses and response to operational issues outside of normal working hours as needed.
