Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in North Las Vegas seeks a Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance and housekeeping during the assigned shift, ensuring reliable operations across the casino property.

You will schedule staff, supervise preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and maintain clean public areas including the casino floor and restrooms, while upholding safety standards.

This role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager by ensuring efficient operations of the facility maintenance department and staff during assigned shift.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Physically respond to emergency situations, such as fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or other emergencies or repairs.
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property including casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc.

Job Description

Responsible for supervision of the facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during assigned shift. Ensure that all maintenance, repair, and emergency matters are responded to and resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.

• Assist Facility Manager by ensuring the efficient and proper operations of the facility maintenance department and staff during assigned shift.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Physically respond to emergency situations, i.e., fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or any other emergency or repair.
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property including Casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc...

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
