Responsibilities

• Respond to and troubleshoot facility work orders.

• Assist other technicians as needed.
• Monitor and log readings from critical equipment.
• Diagnose system faults and take corrective action.
• Use required PPE and standard tools; escalate complex issues when needed.

The Facilities Service Technician performs intermediate-level work in the installation, maintenance, and service of building operating systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to and troubleshoot facility work orders

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs

• Complete general facility maintenance including:

  • Painting & patching

  • Carpentry & fixtures

  • Caulking & flooring

  • Locksmith services

• Assist other technicians as needed

• Monitor and log readings from critical equipment

• Diagnose system faults and take corrective action

• Use required PPE and standard tools

• Escalate complex issues appropriately

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 4 years of facilities operations experience

• Valid Texas Driver License

• Must meet driving insurance eligibility requirements
