Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead custodial staff, monitor district energy use and health and safety, and support the Director of Buildings and Grounds to ensure clean, safe facilities for students and the community.

This role requires post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or Industrial Hygiene, 5+ years of related experience, and knowledge of safety regulations, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education focusing on Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or CSP or equivalent
• Five+ years of experience in a related area
• Knowledge of federal and state health and safety laws (OSHA)
• Knowledge of energy conservation methods and techniques
• Knowledge of management principles and techniques
• Technological proficiency
• Ability to work independently and delegate
• Strong writing, verbal, and reporting skills
• Ability to operate district vehicles, bobcat, and lawn equipment
