Job summary

NACOG's Prescott office seeks an EHS - HS Building & Facilities Specialist to oversee maintenance and renovation projects across facilities and equipment, ensuring safe and compliant operations for staff, children, and families.

Under general supervision, the role drives energy management, security planning, and cost-effective facility improvements while coordinating with various teams to meet regulatory requirements and program needs in the Prescott area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of construction/maintenance experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable.
• Ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs construction, renovation, and maintenance projects at facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and optimal site operations.
• Ensures quality of workmanship in line with regulations, grants, and timelines.
• Provides basic maintenance of the vehicle fleet as assigned for staff safety.
• Directs grounds maintenance and contracted work to ensure a healthy, safe environment for staff and families.
• Maintains records on purchasing, building data, sites, and maintenance activities for compliance and budgeting.
