Job summary

Hastings Public Schools is seeking a Director of Facilities and Safety to provide executive oversight of district-wide facilities, safety, and site operations. You will lead the Buildings and Grounds team, safety programs, and coordinate capital projects.

The role requires five+ years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of safety compliance, and the ability to develop budgets and long-range facility plans in a District-supported environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of job-related supervisory experience.
• Experience with boilers, construction, facilities/grounds maintenance, and air quality issues preferred.
• Knowledge of public school facilities regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee district-wide facilities, safety programs, and site operations.
• Lead Buildings and Grounds supervision and safety personnel.
• Develop and administer department budgets and long-range plans.
• Coordinate with district leadership on policy and capital projects.
