Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking a Facility Safety Specialist II to lead OSHA programs across facilities, construction, and housing, delivering compliance training and ensuring adherence during renovation projects campus-wide.

With 5–10 years of construction safety experience and a Bachelor's degree in safety/health, you will coordinate safety trainings, perform site inspections, and manage LOTO, confined space, and hearing conservation programs on site.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience with construction health and safety.
• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or related field; current driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Facilities Safety Program and deliver OSHA, NFPA, EPA, OSHA and other regulatory training.
• Conduct weekly safety/site inspections across campus renovation sites and ensure compliance.
• Oversee Lock-Out/Tag-Out program and annual training for personnel.
• Coordinate Hearing Conservation program testing and annual training.
• Manage Confined Space program and safety documentation.
• Audit PPE usage and maintain OSHA recordkeeping.
