Zusammenfassung

SunCoast Blood Centers is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support daily operation, maintenance, and safety across donor centers, administrative spaces, and mobile blood drive sites. The role involves hands-on maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Travel between SunCoast locations is required to ensure operational readiness and timely response to facility needs. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in facilities or related fields are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of facilities/maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environments preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, painting, and general upkeep.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly facility checklists across assigned locations.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and infrastructure.
• Identify and expedite larger repair needs to supervisor or approved vendors. Complete assigned work orders and maintenance tickets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of mobile blood drives as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
