Job summary

Hanover Township seeks a Facilities and Road Associate to maintain township facilities and roads in Bartlett, IL. The role includes routine repairs, renovations, and landscape tasks, ensuring equipment is operable and safe.

Responsibilities include minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry work, and road maintenance, with a schedule typically Monday–Friday. CDL within 12 months and IDOT Flagger certification are required, along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment while applying strong judgment.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety requirements in building trades.
• Basic understanding of minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on Township facilities and roads as directed.
• Assist with internal renovation projects (painting, carpeting, tiling).
• Mow and landscape operations; brush pickup; road striping; general road maintenance assistance.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and in good working order.

1 year facility/road maintenance experience
